CBT “works” for a variety of mental health conditions including depression, anxiety, obsessive compulsive disorder, social anxiety, and trauma. CBT provides a simple framework that teaches clients how to change their patterns of thinking and behaving to achieve their goals. Psychotherapy can also be an essential component of treatment and management of serious mental illnesses like schizophrenia and bipolar mood disorder. Ms. Piyali’s therapeutic approach is psycho-social, trauma-informed, and queer-friendly.

Ms. Misquitta has extensive experience in the area of child psychology. She has worked extensively in the assessment and diagnosis of Learning Disabilities, Intellectual Disabilities, Neuro-developmental disorders like Autism Spectrum Disorders, and emotional difficulties. Her previous experience has included working at the Centre for Learning Disabilities, B.Y.L.
